Produced in 1967, our Austin-Healey 3000 (H-BJ8) MK III Sports Convertible (phase 2) is one of the last models produced, and has therefore benefited from the model's latest developments, enabling it to be used reliably over long distances even today.
Like 90% of Austin-Healey cars, this one was delivered to the United States before being imported into France in 2001.
The car had a total restoration some ten years ago, and is therefore in exceptional condition, both in terms of the bodywork and the mechanics - everything had been redone.
Since the restoration, it has covered 9,000 km, and has been regularly serviced by a classic car specialist.
With 148bhp, the MK III in phase 2 is the most powerful of the Austin-Healey models, and also the most desirable 3000. Its overdrive is also a plus, allowing it to be driven on motorways and trunk roads.
