Very nice Mercedes 280SL with 4 seats (type W107) in very good condition and in its original Silver Blue color (code 930) and with a gray interior in excellent condition. 

The marine blue soft top is recent and in perfect condition, as is the hard top.

Intended for the European market, our Mercedes 280SL was exported to the USA in March 1984. Only the dual-indication speedometer (km/h and miles) was adopted in 1984.

The 127,200-mile odometer has been certified from the outset, with an extensive file of invoices covering the last 30 years.

Mechanically, an service has just been done, including engine oil change, gearbox and filters, new tires and exhaust system. Several parts have recently been replaced at a cost of around €6,000 (new front discs, front calipers, brake pads, steering clutch, fuel pressure accumulator, rear stabilizer bar, etc.).

Apart from the air-conditioning and clock, everything is functional on our 280SL, which comes standard with a 2746 cm3 in-line 6-cylinder engine developing 185hp. Being the lightest of the W107s, this 280SL accelerates more briskly than a V8, and delivers current performance figures (206 km/h, 0 to 100 km/h in 10.9s.).
