Sportwagen Paris is pleased to present this superb Mercedes-Benz 500 SL R230, finished in an elegant metallic blue over grey leather interior and showing 133,000 km (82,600 miles) from new.

Produced between 2001 and 2006, the R230 500 SL is one of the last great Mercedes-Benz grand tourers powered by a naturally aspirated V8, combining performance, comfort and advanced technology. Its 5.0-liter V8 engine develops 306 horsepower and is paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. Performance remains impressive even by modern standards, with 0–100 km/h achieved in 6.7 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

The R230 is also distinguished by its fully retractable steel hardtop, offering the comfort and refinement of a true coupe together with the enjoyment of open-top motoring.

Our example presents in very good overall condition. The bodywork, interior presentation and operation of the various features reflect the care and maintenance the car has received throughout its life. The power hardtop operates correctly and smoothly.

To ensure reliability and driving enjoyment, a major service was carried out in April 2026 at a cost of nearly €6,000. This work included the replacement of the shock absorbers, spark plugs, alternator, tires, as well as all fluids and filters.

The original service book accompanies the vehicle and documents its 133,000 km from new, representing an average of just 5,300 km per year.
