Volkswagen T2 Bay 8-seater, fully restored.

Extensively restored, this T2 Combi type 231 (11 windows) is in perfect condition.

Delivered to Brazil in 1989, this T2 was then imported to England in 2021, before its restoration began.

The body was completely dismantled, treated and repainted in its original Mocca / beige color. All gaskets were replaced by new ones.

The mechanics were also rebuilt, with the engine dismantled to replace pistons, crankshaft and both carburetors, and the transmission dismantled and restored. The combi also received a new 4-speed gearbox (invoice €3,870). Around 300 km have been driven since the restoration.

The interior has been redone by a saddler with a tartan trim reminiscent of the 70s, and all the carpets, headlining, storm doors, belts, etc. are new.

With French collector's registration, this T2 can be driven without any restrictions.

It can seat up to 8 people.

With its 1,600 cm3 dual-carburetor engine, renowned for its sturdiness and endurance, our T2 combi is the perfect vehicle for travelling with family or friends, taking your time! Although the top speed is 116 km/h, the ideal cruising speed is between 80 and 90 km/h.
