Rare T1 Combi Type 231 with French Origins and History

This T1 Split Window Combi was delivered in France on February 17, 1964, and comes with an impressive record of invoices spanning the last 40 years, totaling nearly €30,000.

Notable work includes a complete body restoration carried out by a professional in 2004 for a total of €11,950. The body is in excellent condition, free of rust, dents, or scratches.

The mechanical components have been regularly maintained. In November 2024, all the wheel cylinders were replaced (invoice for €1,364). Additionally, the engine was replaced by a Volkswagen dealer in 1989 (invoice for 20,900 French francs).

Originally, this T1 Combi was delivered in a 9-seat configuration (as stated on the registration certificate). Today, the interior is bare, offering the future owner the opportunity to customize it according to their preferences and needs.
