We present one of the very first CX GTIs from 1977, featuring chrome bumpers, matte black window surrounds, and a front air deflector.

Delivered new in France in September 1977, our CX has just been restored in its original color, Régate Blue (AC644). The interior, meanwhile, is completely original. Please note that the fabric on the top of the rear seats shows some sun damage.

Mechanically, this GTI runs very well. A full service was recently carried out by a Citroën specialist. The second owner undertook a mechanical restoration in 2021, including replacement of the five suspension spheres, engine mounts, tires, and more.

The 2,347 cm³ fuel-injected engine (L-Jetronic) revs freely, and with 128 hp paired with a 5-speed gearbox, this CX is capable of handling all types of journeys — even reaching 191 km/h.

Please note: the water temperature gauge and fuel gauge function intermittently.

The current mileage of 83,800 km appears consistent with the condition of the vehicle.

The first owner kept this CX from 1977 to 2019 — a remarkable 42 years of ownership!
