Peugeot 205 CTI Phase 1 – 1.6 115 hp

The Peugeot 205 CTI is the convertible version of the famous 205 GTI. Developed in collaboration with Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina, it combines the GTI’s mechanical components with open-top driving.

With its 115 hp engine and low weight, the 205 CTI offers an excellent balance of performance, reliability and running costs. Its fixed central roll bar helps improve body rigidity while providing additional protection for the occupants.

This example has 112,400 km from new. It has never been restored and remains in condition consistent with its age.

The interior is in good condition, with well-preserved seats, although the outer edge of the driver's seat cushion is slightly sagging. The bodywork has a few small dents on the doors and wings.

The soft top is in very good condition, and the tonneau cover is included.

The car is fitted with Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 alloy wheels, all four of which have been fully refurbished.

A comprehensive mechanical service has recently been carried out, including:

• Timing belt, water pump and tensioner pulley

• Coolant expansion tank and thermostat

• Complete flushing of the cooling system and replacement of the coolant

• Engine oil and oil filter change

• Replacement of the exhaust manifold gasket

• New brake discs and pads

• New rear drum brake shoes

• Brake fluid replacement

• Gearbox oil change

• Replacement of the fuel, air and oil filters

• New alternator belt

• All four alloy wheels refurbished

We have driven the car for 200 km, and it has been a real pleasure. The car is light, acceleration is lively, and the 115 hp engine provides enough performance to enjoy both winding country roads and motorway driving.

A straightforward, enjoyable car to drive, offering the pleasure of open-top motoring without requiring a huge budget.
