Rare Porsche 356 Type A Coupé from May 1956, in its Sahara Beige color (5604) with a Bordeaux red interior.

This Porsche 356 was originally delivered new in the USA by Hoffmann New York before being imported into France and fully restored.

The car is now in like-new condition, with an engine still in its break-in period and a body perfectly restored at great expense. Only 420 km have been covered since the restoration.

The restoration, which lasted several years, was carried out to the highest standards, using a rotisserie.

Important details: this 356 Type A retains its original engine and the same body and interior colors as when new, as confirmed by its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. It should be noted that the gearbox has been replaced with a more recent one.

All original documentation (service book and manual) is also present, along with a substantial file of older invoices.

Combined with its unique and timeless design, this 356 is a real pleasure to drive.

With its 1,600 cm³ engine producing 60 hp, fed by two inverted Solex 32 PBIC carburetors, and with a weight of only 855 kg, our 356 is at ease on all roads and can cover long distances.
