Beautiful Saab 900 Turbo Convertible

Sportwagen Paris is pleased to offer this beautiful Saab 900 Turbo Convertible, presented in Bordeaux (Ruby Red).

Delivered new in the United States in 1993 and imported into France in 2026, it has had only three owners from new. It currently shows 84,000 miles, approximately 134,000 km, with documented mileage history dating back to its first registration (Carfax available).

The paintwork is in very good condition and remains largely original. The car has been regularly maintained and comes with a history documenting the work carried out over the years.

Under the bonnet is the 2.0-litre, 16-valve, high-pressure Turbo engine producing 160 hp, paired with an automatic transmission. This powertrain is particularly well suited to the 900 Convertible, making it equally capable of covering long distances or enjoying country roads.

The Saab 900 Convertible is also a genuine four-seater, spacious enough for family trips. Its electrically operated mohair soft top, in perfect condition, allows the car to be quickly transformed from a coupé configuration into a convertible.

It is particularly well equipped, with air conditioning, electric windows, electric seats, a recent Apple CarPlay system, and more.

The service history shows that several important areas have already been addressed. In particular, the hydraulic soft-top system has been overhauled, including replacement of both hydraulic cylinders and the hydraulic pump.

Work has also been carried out to address engine and transmission sealing, including replacement of the front crankshaft oil seal and transmission sump gasket, as well as work on the distributor and turbo oil circuit.

The SRS system has been inspected and repaired, including replacement of the control unit and work on the steering wheel clock spring.

As for the braking system, the brake fluid has been replaced and the ABS accumulator changed, followed by bleeding of the system.

Several ancillary components have also received attention, including the cooling system, indicators and hazard lights, bonnet release cable, and windscreen washer system.

Finally, the car was serviced in May 2026 and currently requires no additional expenditure.

With its 160 hp engine, automatic transmission and four genuine seats, this Saab remains a particularly easy classic car to use. It is capable of covering long distances in comfort and is equally suited to everyday journeys or weekends in the countryside.
