Rare Volvo V70 T5 – 1st generation

Delivered new in Sweden on 7 February 1997, our V70 T5 is equipped with the famous 2.3-litre 5-cylinder, 20-valve turbocharged engine producing 240 hp.

The T5 remains a particularly high-performance car for its time, with 0–100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 27.5 seconds and a top speed of 245 km/h.

It can therefore do everything: practical, comfortable and spacious, it is also perfectly capable, even when fully loaded, of comfortably keeping up with motorway traffic.

Its automatic gearbox has 3 driving modes: Sport, Economy and Winter, allowing the behaviour of the car to be easily adapted to the driving conditions. With 330 Nm of torque, the V70 T5 offers particularly strong acceleration and overtaking performance.

This generation of the B5234T engine is renowned for its robustness and reliability. Its mileage of 182,000 km is therefore particularly reasonable for a car that is almost 30 years old. The mileage is fully documented by its complete original service book, numerous invoices and inspection records dating back to new.

A major service was carried out in September 2026, including replacement of the timing belt and water pump, alternator, engine mount, hydraulic tensioner and anti-roll bar links, as well as an engine oil change and replacement of the filters.

A paint thickness measurement was carried out and confirms that the bodywork retains its original factory paint and has never been resprayed.

The interior is also in good overall condition. A film has been applied to the rear window; this can be removed if desired.

Our V70 T5 is equipped with air conditioning, which will be recharged before sale, heated leather seats, power steering, electric windows, a tow hitch, as well as many other features.
